The Animal Emergency Clinic is always accepting applications from individuals that are dedicated to providing the highest quality skilled nursing care in a fast paced clinical environment.

Qualified applicants MUST fit the following criteria:

• Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Be flexible in regards to scheduling (and able to potentially work 10 to 14 hour shifts on a regualr basis)
• Be reliable and punctual when arriving for their scheduled shifts
• the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Be able to maintain good working relationships with a variety of personalities
• Understand that a good sense of humor is essential
• Be self-motivated and able to effectively utilize down-time
• Be open to learning/updating skills and knowledge (in-house training and continuing education opportunities are provided)
• Possess basic math abilities

A minimum of one year working in the Animal Care industry is preferred for Receptionist positions. 

A minimum of one year working as a Veterinary Technician (or an RVT/CVT license) is strongly preferred when applying for Technician positions.

The Animal Emergency Clinic of Central Texas does not employ Kennel Attendants, Kennel Technicians, or Veterinary Technician's Assistants.
